Gabriel Shalom (Bethesda, Maryland USA, 1982) è un artista audiovisivo con esperienze legate al cinema, alla video art, alla musica e al design. Dal 2003 collabora a numerosi progetti creativi e performativi in Germania, dove risiede. I suoi principali interessi riguardano la narrativa sperimentale, la musica visiva e i racconti postapocalittici per l'infanzia. Ha studiato alla Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe, al Bard College nella New York's Hudson Valley, alla Fachhochschule Schwäbisch Hall e all'University of Maryland, College Park. Ha esposto i suoi lavori video a livello internazionale in numerose gallerie e festival. Il suo progetto di tesi, un documentario sugli inventori di strumenti musicali, è stato premiato al Woodstock Film Festival nel 2005. Nello stesso anno ha partecipato alla creazione del quartetto audio-visivo Suite For Ingrid al Creative Arts and Music Project in Stuttgart, un festival di musica visiva e sound art. www.gabrielshalom.com
